Electrical Safety Wiki:

Welcome to the electrical safety wiki. This wiki is designed to be a place where the DOE electrical safety community of interest can come together to share their combined knowledge to improve the safety of all.

What is a "Wiki"?

A wiki is a website that allows members to easily edit the content of the page. This page is a wiki, and you as a member can edit the content. The primary content of the wiki is text, but you can add images videos and other media that you feel are important to improving electrical safety. Before you get started editing the wiki you may want to check out the wiki help page, it provides some simple information on editing the wiki, or you can just click the edit button on the upper right of each page and experiment yourself.

Electrical Safety Data:

The expanded definition of the criteria used above:
(1) ARCF = significant arc flash
(2) LOTO = lockout/tagout
(3) PLAN = job planning
(4) EXCAV = excavation/penetration
(5) CUT/D = cutting or drilling
(6) VEH = vehicle event

You may want to consider adding a key for event types (example: what is Cut/D?) This may be apparent to the expert user, but a casual or new user may not understand the terminology. - JayT JayT Jan 5, 2010
